Our client, for an important organizational development strategy, has commissioned us to identify:

VALUE STREAM LEADER – MANUFACTURING

REGGIO EMILIA

The candidate will be responsible for the management of the entire Value Stream Flow of a multi range production line from painting to delivery to customer keeping Safety, People, timing, costs & quality aligned to the P&L expectations.

In detail:

• Manage daily operations overseeing the entire Value Stream Flow from painting to delivery to the Customers
• He/she will hire, train and develop individuals reporting directly to him/her
• Oversee and manage continuous improvement initiatives in collaborations with Lean Leaders and other functions
• Set and manager daily KPI’s
• Manage budget and work towards lowering costs
• Manage production throughput vs plan

WE REQUIRE:

• Degree as Mechanical/Industrial Engineer and/or comparable qualification 
• 3+ years of experience in a fast paced competitive manufacturing environment
• Track record in Lean Manufacturing/WCM implementation
• Clear thinking and good listener
• Team-player, imagination and courage
• Leadership and ready to perform under pressure
• English fluent

DESIDERABLE:

• Six Sigma
• Experience in automotive industry as car maker or 1^st tier supplier
• Experience in painting and/or assembly operations
• Experience overseeing a team of 50+ operators
